Sonu Sood, the Bollywood actor has gained the status of a “Messiah” after his selfless efforts during the pandemic and ongoing charitable works have garnered immense admiration from many people. His legion of fans constantly grows and people pay tribute to him in numerous ways- from naming their businesses, their children, and building three temples dedicated to him.
And now, fans have paid another rich tribute by building fourth temple near the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana borders. When Sonu learned of this, he expressed his appreciation and was overwhelmed with gratitude. Previously, three temples have been built in Andhra Pradesh and Chennai. Sonu responded to this news by stating that although he is grateful, he doesn’t deserve it. In an interview Sonu stated, “I am incredibly humbled and speechless, and while I am incredibly appreciative of the love and support I have received, I also want to say that I totally don’t deserve so much.” Sonu also mentioned how he had read stories of such affection and tribute prior to this only in books and he never imagined being the recipient of such love. He also urged his fans to build hospitals and schools where social causes of medical care and education could be furthered instead of temples.
In another tribute, artist Vipul Shiripad Mirajkar created an 87,000 square foot rangoli of Sonu Sood on the eve of India’s 74th Republic Day as a special homage to the icon. This rangoli set a new world record.
On the work front, Sonu will next be featured in the action movie “Fateh,” which is based on true events and has intense action scenes. The action thriller is directed by Abhinandan Gupta. After Fateh, Sonu will start his work on the film Kisaan.
