Actress Nushrratt Bharuccha shared her harrowing experience in Israel after returning to India. She was stuck in war-struck Israel while attending the Haifa International Film Festival for the screening of her film Akelli. While participating in the film festival Nushrratt was caught in a horrific situation as the war broke out. The actress returned to India on 0ctober 8.
Back in India, the Bollywood actress remarked that her experience is “unforgettable and daunting.” While recalling her stay in Israel amid war she said she ‘woke up to the deafening sounds of bombs, took shelter in the basement.’
After her successful debut as Jai Santoshi Maa in 2006 the actress was a part of some commercial hits like Love Sex Aur Dhoka (2010), Pyar Ka Punchnama (2011), Pyar Ka Punchnama 2 (2015), Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018) and others. The gorgeous actress even received a nomination for the Zee Cine Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in 2011.
Now that she is back home Nushrratt took to Instagram and wrote, “Two days ago, I woke up in my hotel room in Tel Aviv to sounds of bomb blasts and sirens. We were taken down to the basement in a shelter area. Main pehle kabhi iss situation mein rahi nahin hoon. (I’ve never been in a situation like this)”
The actress added that she is grateful to be back in her peaceful homeland. Her fans and several Bollywood actors commented on her posts and wished her well.
Varun Dhawan reacted with two red heart emojis on Nushrratt’s post. Harshvarrdhan Kapoor commented, “Good to see you back and safe Nushrat .. also absolutely spot on we are very blessed to live in this wonderful country which we often take for granted (red heart emoji).” Abhimanyu Dassani left a comment, “Just glad you’re okay (hug emoji).”
Nushrratt will be next seen on screen in Chhorii 2.
