Mahesh Babu, the acclaimed Telugu actor, is set to lend his voice to the character Mufasa in the Telugu version of Disney’s upcoming film Mufasa: The Lion King. This news comes after Shah Rukh Khan was announced as the voice of Mufasa for the Hindi version. Directed by Barry Jenkins, the film is slated to release in India on December 20 in four languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Telugu Voice Cast
In the Telugu version of the film, Mahesh Babu will voice Mufasa, while the talented Brahmanandam will bring Pumbaa to life and Ali will voice Timon. The trailer for the Telugu version will be released on August 26 at 11:07 am. The film promises to combine live-action with photorealistic CGI to bring the beloved characters to life.
Shah Rukh Khan in Hindi Version
For the Hindi version of Mufasa: The Lion King, Shah Rukh Khan will voice Mufasa. He will be joined by his sons Aryan Khan and AbRam Khan, who will voice Simba and young Mufasa, respectively. This will be AbRam’s debut in voice acting, while Aryan had previously voiced Simba in the Hindi version of the 2019 The Lion King.
