The teaser for Prabhas’ upcoming film The Raja Saab is finally out, and fans are loving the fresh vibe! Directed by Maruthi, this horror comedy promises a fun mix of laughs, romance, and spooky thrills. Along with Prabhas, the film stars Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, and Riddhi Kumar in key roles. The movie is set to release on 5 December 2025, after being postponed from its earlier April date.
A Haunted Haveli and a Light-Hearted Hero
The teaser opens with the setup of a giant, old haveli (mansion), full of secrets, ghosts, and hidden treasure. It once belonged to a man called ‘The Raja,’ who didn’t want anyone else to enjoy what he left behind.
Prabhas plays a cheerful, charming guy who is head over heels in love with Nidhhi Agerwal’s character. In fact, in the Hindi version of the teaser, he even says he loves her like Shah Rukh Khan—a cute nod to Bollywood’s King of Romance. Malavika Mohanan, on the other hand, appears to be completely obsessed with Prabhas’ character, adding more drama to the story.
Things take a spooky turn when Prabhas enters the haveli, only to find that he’s not alone. But instead of being too dark or intense, the teaser hints at a playful tone with plenty of comedy—even as the ghostly events begin.
Prabhas Returns to Comedy
Fans are thrilled to see Prabhas in a fun and light-hearted role again. After a series of intense action and sci-fi films like Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD, this teaser shows a completely different side of the actor. His comic timing, charming smile, and playful energy have definitely struck a chord with fans.
Leaked Teaser Clips and Team’s Response
Before the official teaser launch, a few clips and pictures from The Raja Saab were leaked online. This led the film’s team to issue a strong warning to fans. They posted on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), urging everyone to avoid sharing the leaked content. “Strict action will be taken and handles will be suspended immediately,” they warned, adding, “Let’s celebrate responsibly.”
To build the excitement, the team also shared small glimpses from the teaser over the weekend.
India’s Biggest Horror Set
A major highlight of the film is the massive haunted haveli where much of the story unfolds. The team revealed that they built a huge 41,256 sq ft set, calling it the biggest horror set ever made in India. Art director Rajeevan Nambiar explained that their goal was to create a space that doesn’t just look haunted but actually feels haunted. “Every detail had to bring out emotion, not just be visually scary,” he said.
With a mix of spooky fun, romance, and humor, The Raja Saab looks like an exciting ride. And with Prabhas bringing back his playful charm, fans have even more reason to look forward to this December release. Keep an eye out—it’s going to be a fun one!
