In every great city, there are moments when art transcends entertainment — when music becomes a bridge that connects generations, emotions, and communities. This October, one such moment is set to unfold in Boston as the India Association of Greater Boston (IAGB) joins hands with Jay-Ho! The Jay Kumar Show to support the much-anticipated concert, Abhijeet Bhattacharya LIVE in Boston – “Relive the Romance, Reignite the Magic,” scheduled for Sunday, October 26, 2025, at the J. Everett Collins Center for the Performing Arts in Andover, MA.

For more than six decades, IAGB has served as the beating heart of Boston’s Indian-American community — preserving heritage while embracing progress. Founded in 1962, IAGB began as a small group of families celebrating Indian festivals together and has since grown into one of New England’s most respected cultural institutions. Its signature event, India Day on Boston Common, attracts thousands each year, symbolizing the diversity and pride of the Indian diaspora.

Under the leadership of President Nilesh Agrawal, IAGB continues to expand its vision — blending tradition with modernity and fostering partnerships that bring meaningful cultural experiences to the community. That shared vision makes this collaboration with Jay-Ho! a natural and exciting alignment.

“IAGB has always believed that music and culture are powerful tools to bring people together,” says Nilesh Agrawal, President of IAGB. “We’ve known Jay-Ho! for quite some time and have seen the incredible quality and professionalism they bring to their events. Their shows always blend entertainment with purpose, and supporting this concert felt like a natural extension of IAGB’s mission to celebrate art, culture, and community.”

For Nilesh, the connection goes deeper than community — it’s rooted in personal memories and nostalgia. Like millions of Indians across the globe, he grew up listening to Abhijeet Bhattacharya’s songs, a voice that defined the soundscape of the 1990s and early 2000s.

“I’ve heard so many of Abhijeet ji’s songs growing up,” he shares. “His voice was everywhere — from radios to wedding playlists. One of my all-time favorites is ‘Chand Taare Tod Laoon,’ a song that’s still so full of hope and heart. It’s amazing that we now get to welcome the voice behind those memories right here in Boston.”

The collaboration is also a reflection of IAGB’s community-first spirit. Alongside Nilesh is a dedicated leadership team that shares his passion and vision — Deepak Garg, Vice President, whose civic and financial insight strengthens IAGB’s outreach; Ashalata Thotangare, Secretary, who ensures that every milestone is recorded and preserved; and Vijay Ejenkar, Treasurer, who brings his steady financial stewardship to the organization.

Supporting them is a vibrant board of directors — Arpita Das PathakJharna MadanManishabrata BhowmickPrashant KulkarniShital BhammerShaswati (Lima) Das, and Vijayendra Bhargava — each bringing a unique voice, professional expertise, and a deep commitment to cultural unity and community progress. Together, they embody the spirit of teamwork and service that defines IAGB’s enduring legacy.

For Jay Kumar, Founder of Jay-Ho!, IAGB’s support carries deep meaning.

“IAGB is more than just an organization — it’s the conscience of our community,” says Jay. “Their endorsement reflects not only trust in what we do but also a shared belief that music has the power to connect hearts. We’ve always admired IAGB’s consistency, leadership, and authenticity — values that align perfectly with Jay-Ho!’s own philosophy.”

Built on the pillars of Art, Innovation, and Technology, Jay-Ho! has evolved into a comprehensive event and ticketing platform that brings world-class experiences to audiences across North America. From intimate talk shows and comedy acts to large-scale concerts, Jay-Ho! combines creativity with technology to deliver seamless, emotionally resonant experiences.

As for Abhijeet Bhattacharya, the excitement around his Boston appearance is undeniable. Often described as the voice of superstars, Abhijeet has lent his golden voice to actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Aamir Khan, and Hrithik Roshan, creating unforgettable melodies that defined Bollywood’s most romantic era.

“Boston and New England have always been lovers of music and the arts,” Abhijeet said recently. “I’m thrilled to return to the U.S. after so many years and can’t wait to perform for such an incredible audience. Jay-Ho! brings so much professionalism and passion to their shows — it’s going to be an unforgettable night.”

The concert promises to be more than just a musical evening — it’s a celebration of shared heritage, nostalgia, and the collective pride of a community that thrives through connection and culture.
