Heartbeats — When Boston’s Music Found Its Soul

Boston witnessed an unforgettable musical evening on November 8, 2025, as HEARTBEATS – A Celebration of Rhythm and Romance brought melody, movement, and meaning together at Keefe Tech Auditorium, Framingham. From its first note to the last standing ovation, the show was a reminder that when passion meets preparation, music becomes magic.

A Vision in Sync

Conceived and directed by Rajiv Gangurde – a scientist by profession and musician by heart – Heartbeats explored how rhythm and romance have evolved through decades of Hindi cinema. Each performance carried the audience from the golden age of melodies to today’s vibrant Bollywood hits, forming a journey that felt both nostalgic and new.

Rajiv not only directed but also led the vocals with infectious energy. His renditions of Tere Mast Mast Do NainBadtameez Dil, and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani set the tempo high, while his duets, especially Aaja Aaja Main Hoon Pyaar Tera with Ashwini Paranjape-Ranade, drew thunderous applause.

Jay-Ho! – Proud Ticketing Partner

Jay-Ho! was proud to be the exclusive ticketing partner for Heartbeats 2025 and to witness its journey from the first discussion between Rajiv Gangurde and Jay Kumar to the show’s flawless execution.

What impressed everyone was the attention to detail – from rehearsals and lighting design to the seating arrangement that ensured every guest enjoyed a clear view. Even the smallest logistics were handled with professional care.

In an industry where delays and disorganization are common, Heartbeats stood out for starting on time, running smoothly, and treating its audience with respect. Every cue hit perfectly – a testament to weeks of behind-the-scenes dedication.

Voices and Vibes

Alongside Rajiv, singers Ashwini Paranjape-RanadeSuzana NaikRaghu Saranathan, and guest performer Preanshi Charnalia filled the hall with powerful vocals and effortless chemistry. Their harmonies proved that when talent and teamwork align, the result is pure listening pleasure.

A skit by Rish Dey-Kunz and Shreya Soni, portraying an elderly couple playfully arguing over old-versus-new Bollywood music, added a delightful theatrical touch. It was witty, nostalgic, and perfectly captured the spirit of the evening.

Dancers from Ekta Dance Academy elevated the experience with vibrant choreography that transformed songs into stories – a visual rhythm to match the musical heartbeat of the night.

The Orchestra That Brought It All Together

At the center of the show was an exceptional six-member live orchestra:
Angshuman Parashar (bass), Bharat Lagu (tabla), Hiral Parikh (octapad), Manish Kurup (guitar), Nikhil Pendharkar (keyboard), and Raahil Parikh (drums).

Their synergy produced a sound that felt larger than life. Seventeen-year-old Raahil Parikh stunned the audience with a breathtaking drum solo that proved true talent has no age. With Jawed Wahid handling sound and lighting, every beat resonated perfectly – literally and emotionally.

Music With a Purpose

Beyond entertainment, Heartbeats stayed rooted in its mission – to use music as a force for good. Proceeds from the concert will support local nonprofits focusing on education, senior care, and community welfare.

This balance of artistry and altruism gave Heartbeats its real rhythm – a celebration not just of Bollywood music, but of the community that makes it thrive.

A Night to Remember

From start to finish, Heartbeats radiated professionalism, warmth, and joy. The teamwork between performers, technicians, and volunteers reflected a shared love for the stage. Every detail – the song list, the pacing, the stage design – was carefully curated to deliver both emotion and entertainment.

Rajiv and Pranoti Gangurde, the duo behind this remarkable show, have built Heartbeats into a tradition that grows stronger each year. Their dedication to perfection and community spirit continues to raise the standard for live music in Boston.

Jay-Ho! Reflection

In a year filled with large-scale concerts and celebrity tours, Heartbeats proved that local artistry, when executed with sincerity and precision, can create the same excitement – and perhaps something even more meaningful.

Boston’s music scene is thriving, and Heartbeats reminded us that its strongest pulse comes from within – from people who believe that art and heart must move together.

At Jay-Ho!, we salute such endeavors – where every note is tuned with purpose, and every applause echoes a community’s pride.
