Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn sparked excitement among fans as his historical blockbuster Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior completed six years on January 10. Marking the milestone, the actor shared striking illustrated artwork from the film, subtly hinting that the story of the brave Maratha warrior may not be over yet.
Ajay Devgn’s Cryptic Post Fuels Sequel Speculation
Taking to social media, Ajay Devgn shared a series of illustrated visuals depicting intense moments from Tanhaji. Alongside the artwork, he wrote a message in Marathi which, when translated, read:
“The fort is won, but the lion is dead — but the story isn’t over yet.”
He added the hashtag #6YearsOfTanhaji, instantly triggering speculation about a possible sequel, tentatively being referred to as Tanhaji 2.
Artwork Showcases Iconic Characters From The Film
The artwork shared by Ajay Devgn features him as the fearless Maratha warrior Tanhaji Malusare, standing tall amid a raging battlefield. Another illustration shows him in traditional Maratha attire, wearing a turban and holding a sword, symbolising the warrior’s indomitable spirit. One of the visuals also highlights Kajol, who portrayed Tanhaji’s wife Savitribai Malusare, underscoring her emotional and moral strength in the narrative.
