The much-awaited title track of Ek Din is finally here — and it brings together two powerhouse names in Indian cinema and music. Backed by Aamir Khan Productions, the song is beautifully rendered by Arijit Singh and has already begun striking an emotional chord with listeners.
Adding to the buzz, the makers released a special behind-the-scenes video capturing heartfelt moments between Arijit and Aamir Khan during the latter’s visit to the singer’s hometown in Murshidabad.
Aamir Khan’s Personal Visit to Convince Arijit Singh
Speculation had been rife about whether Aamir travelled to meet Arijit amid rumours of the singer stepping back from playback assignments. The special video now puts all conjecture to rest.
Aamir reportedly stayed in Jiaganj, Murshidabad, for four days with Arijit and his family, personally requesting him to lend his voice to Ek Din. Known for his perfectionist approach, Aamir was clear that Arijit’s emotionally textured voice was exactly what the film’s romantic narrative needed.
In a candid moment captured on camera, Aamir is seen asking Arijit about his reported break from singing:
“You are not taking on any projects… you want to not sing for Hindi films? Aise mat kar yaar. Hum log ka kya hoga?”
The exchange reflects warmth, respect, and creative camaraderie — making the collaboration feel deeply personal.

A Timeless Romantic Anthem
The Ek Din title track carries the essence of a timeless love ballad. With touching lyrics and heartfelt composition, the song leans into emotional vulnerability rather than grand orchestration.
The BTS footage shows Aamir closely involved in the creative process — discussing nuances, refining emotional beats, and shaping the song alongside Arijit and the team. The collaboration feels organic rather than transactional, elevating the track beyond just another film song.
