The India Association of Greater Boston (IAGB) is set to host the IAGB 5K Run Walk for Education & Vision on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Depot Park along the Minuteman Community Bikeway in Bedford, Massachusetts. The event promises to bring together families, youth, and community members for a meaningful cause that blends fitness with social impact.
Supporting Education and Vision Care
The initiative aims to support two impactful nonprofit organizations—Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation and Vision-Aid. Both organizations are dedicated to uplifting underserved communities, focusing on education and vision rehabilitation, respectively.
Participants can choose to run or walk at their own pace, making the event inclusive and accessible for people of all age groups and fitness levels.
Encouraging Community Participation
To add to the excitement, the first 100 participants to register will receive a complimentary event T-shirt. The organizers are encouraging early registrations to ensure maximum participation and engagement from the community.
