Selected by Saregama to join legendary entertainer Sudesh Bhosle on a multi-city U.S. tour produced by Saregama and CTR Shows, Juju became part of one of the year’s most anticipated live music experiences for Indian audiences across America.
For Jay-Ho!, the journey was especially memorable. The organization proudly hosted the Connecticut and Boston stops of the tour, bringing New England audiences an opportunity to witness the unique chemistry between Sudesh Bhosle and Anuradha Juju live on stage.
While audiences experienced the music, laughter, and nostalgia under the spotlight, celebrity makeup artist Vidhi Dalia witnessed something equally fascinating behind the scenes: the artist, the person, and the preparation that make Anuradha Juju who she is.

Dalia describes Juju’s beauty as timeless.
“She reminds me of the elegance associated with classic Bollywood icons.”
Yet what impresses her most is not glamour.

“She is warm, understanding, and genuinely kind. She creates a relaxed atmosphere for everyone around her.”
That authenticity, Dalia believes, is one of the reasons audiences connect with her so naturally.

Some of Dalia’s favorite memories have nothing to do with makeup brushes or stage lights.

“Sudesh ji is such a legend,” she says. “Every show with him is a learning experience because he has this incredible ability to surprise audiences at every moment.”
For Juju, sharing the stage with an artist whose career spans decades is both an honor and a responsibility.
“He has performed alongside legends like Lata Mangeshkar ji and Asha Bhosle ji. To now share a live stage with him is not only a huge achievement for me, but it also creates a certain nervousness.”
That nervousness comes from admiration.
Known as the king of mimicry and live entertainment, Sudesh Bhosle has spent more than three decades captivating audiences through music, humor, and spontaneous stage moments.
“Matching his energy and his surprise element is always a challenge,” Juju admits with a smile. “You never know what he is going to do next on stage.”
Yet that challenge has become one of the most rewarding aspects of the tour.
“What makes me happiest is when audiences enjoy our chemistry together. Music is ultimately about connection, and when people are smiling, singing along, and enjoying the interaction between us, it feels incredibly rewarding.”
A Compliment That Matters
One moment from the Boston show remains especially meaningful to Dalia.
Standing backstage was Prashanth Palakurthi—serial entrepreneur, philanthropist, manager of Anuradha Juju, and proudly, her husband.
Few people understand Juju’s artistic journey better than he does.
Before the show, he complimented Juju on how she looked.
To many, it may have seemed like a simple remark.
For Dalia, it carried deeper significance.
“Prashanth knows Juju better than anyone. He understands her personality, her style, and how she likes to present herself. When he compliments her look, it gives me a sense of relief and happiness because I know I’ve done my job well.”
It was not simply praise for makeup.
It was recognition that the artist felt confident, comfortable, and ready for the stage.
For someone working behind the scenes, those moments matter.
