Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 continues its impressive theatrical run, with the film reportedly crossing ₹810 crore in worldwide box office collections. However, Monday brought a noticeable slowdown for several films currently running in cinemas, including Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan’s Udta Teer, Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 3 and other releases.

After witnessing a weekend boost, the films recorded lower collections as the new week began. With the release of Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana: Part 1 approaching, attention is also turning towards the box office performance of titles still competing for audiences in theatres.

Jailer 2 Box Office Collection Crosses ₹810 Crore Worldwide

Starring Rajinikanth, Jailer 2 was released in theatres on October 15. The film collected ₹11.20 crore on Sunday, but its earnings dropped to ₹3.40 crore on Monday, its 19th day.

With Monday’s collection, the film’s total India net collection reportedly reached ₹459.71 crore. Its worldwide box office collection has climbed to ₹812 crore, taking it past the ₹810 crore milestone.

Despite the weekday decline, the film’s reported worldwide total reflects its strong overall theatrical performance. Its continued run also makes it one of the major box office stories among the films currently in cinemas.

Udta Teer Box Office Collection Sees Monday Drop

Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan’s Udta Teer also witnessed a decline after its weekend performance. Released on October 16, the film reportedly had a slow start before gradually gaining momentum at the box office.

After collecting ₹4.35 crore on Sunday, the film earned ₹1.35 crore on Monday, its 11th day. Its total India net collection now stands at ₹43.47 crore.

While the film managed to improve its performance after its initial opening, the latest weekday figures indicate that its box office momentum has slowed.

Nayyi Navelli and Prahaar Struggle at the Box Office

Yami Gautam’s Nayyi Navelli and Rajkummar Rao’s Prahaar are also experiencing a slowdown as their theatrical runs approach the later stages.

Nayyi Navelli collected ₹40 lakh on Sunday but saw its earnings fall to ₹14 lakh on Monday, its 18th day. The film’s total India net collection has reportedly reached ₹26.89 crore.

Prahaar also recorded a modest Monday collection. The film earned ₹19 lakh on its 18th day, taking its total India net collection to ₹23.44 crore.

Both films have seen their daily collections decline, with their theatrical runs now nearing the end, according to the supplied box office report.

Drishyam 3 Box Office Collection Drops to ₹55 Lakh on Monday

Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 3 continues to run in theatres more than a month after its release. However, its daily earnings have now dropped to the lakh range.

The film collected ₹1.75 crore on Sunday, its 31st day, before earning ₹55 lakh on Monday, its 32nd day. Its total India net collection has reportedly reached ₹377.91 crore.

Although the Monday figure represents a considerable drop from its Sunday earnings, the film has continued its theatrical run into its fifth week.

Box Office Competition Ahead of Ramayana: Part 1

With several films recording lower weekday collections, the box office landscape is heading towards a major new release. Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana: Part 1 is scheduled to arrive in theatres on November 5, adding another significant title to the ongoing theatrical competition.

For now, Jailer 2 remains the biggest worldwide grosser among the films covered in this report, with its reported collection standing at ₹812 crore. The coming days will reveal how the current releases perform as audience attention shifts towards the new release.
