Amitabh Bachchan, the legendary Shahenshah of Bollywood, turned 81 on 11th October, and his fans and Bollywood stars alike poured their love and blessings on him. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan took to social media to wish the veteran actor a happy birthday. Sharing a picture of themselves, SRK wrote a heartfelt message, praising Bachchan’s resilience and calling him the toughest of them all. Sharing a photo of himself with Amitabh Bachchan, SRK wrote, “Tough runs don’t last….tough runners do. And Sir you are the toughest of them all. Last 30 yrs just being around u and breathing the same air as you….has been a blessing. Wish u the best on your birthday….keep running & inspiring us. Sir and that Gym of yours… is unbelievable. Love u! @amitabhbachchan”

Meanwhile, at Amitabh’s Mumbai home, fans gathered outside since midnight, hoping to catch a glimpse of their beloved actor. The actor graciously stepped outside the gates, dressed in traditional Indian attire, and greeted his fans with folded hands as he smiled and waved at his fans. His fans captured photos and videos of the actor who stood on a platform outside Jalsa. The crowd also played his popular songs on speakers and showered him with adoration.

Amitabh’s family expressed their love on social media, with his son Abhishek sharing a heartwarming post and his daughter Shweta and granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda showering their love as well.

Abhishek Bachchan shared a photo of himself with his father on Instagram with a warm heartfelt message saying, “My idol, my hero, my inspiration, and my best friend! Happy 81st birthday, Pa! Love you and always got your back.”

Navya shared two pictures of the private celebration on her Instagram story with the caption, “Happy Birthday Nana.”

Not only his family but many Bollywood celebrities including Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, and Kajol, among others, extended their wishes and respect to the actor.

On the work front, Amitabh is currently shooting for his upcoming film “Kalki 2898 – AD,” alongside Prabhas and Deepika Padukone. He will also be seen in “Ganpath” with Tiger Shroff and Kriti Shanon. Moreover, Amitabh will be seen in a currently untitled film produced by Lyca Productions and directed by TJ Gnanavel alongside the superstar of South cinema, Rajnikanth, in an action drama where Rajnikanth will portray a retired police officer, and Amitabh will play a parallel lead role. Fans eagerly await these upcoming films as they look forward to seeing the veteran actor mesmerize the screen once again with his extraordinary performances.
