Ikkis has revealed a deeply emotional behind-the-scenes detail that has struck a chord with audiences even before its theatrical release. In a rare and heartfelt collaboration, Bobby Deol has lent his voice to portray the younger on-screen version of his father, Dharmendra, adding a powerful layer of authenticity and legacy to the film.
The creative decision sees Bobby dubbing select dialogues for Dharmendra’s younger portrayal, subtly enhancing the character’s transition across timelines. The choice not only strengthens the emotional continuity of the narrative but also beautifully bridges generations — both within the story and behind the camera.
Recognising the significance of this contribution, Bobby Deol has been given special thanks in the film’s credits, making the moment an enduring tribute to familial legacy in Indian cinema.
