The executive delegation from the Foundation for Indian Americans (FIA-New England), headquartered in Boston, recently had a significant rendezvous during Spotlight Latvia 2023 at the Westin Hotel in Boston. They met with Latvia’s 11th President, Mr. Edgars Rinkēvičs, the former Prime Minister and current Foreign Affairs Minister, Mr. Arturs Krišjānis Kariņš, and U.S. Ambassador Christopher Robinson, joined by their Latvian-American counterparts. Abhishek Singh, the President of FIA-New England, spearheaded this encounter.
In a warm and respectful gesture, the delegation warmly welcomed and honored President Edgars and his officials by presenting flags symbolizing the USA, Latvia, and India, alongside the spiritual masterpiece, the Bhagavad Gita.
Sandeep Asija, a prominent figure in the business world and a stalwart supporter of the community, anticipated promising prospects for growth in trade, commerce, and tourism among the United States, Latvia, and India. The FIA-NE executive team, led by Anand Sharma, Nikunj Doshi, Ashutosh Acharya, and Ankit Loonia, played a pivotal role in facilitating this significant exchange of ideas and possibilities.
