After creating excitement with the first look of the movie, the makers have now revealed that actress Chitrangda Singh will be playing the female lead. This marks her first time working with Salman Khan on-screen.

A First-Time Pairing
This film will be the first time Salman Khan and Chitrangda Singh appear together on-screen. Fans are excited to see this fresh pair in action. Chitrangda was last seen in the comedy film Housefull 5 with Akshay Kumar and Abhishek Bachchan. She also appeared in the popular Netflix series Khakee: The Bengal Chapter.
What is “Battle of Galwan” About?
Battle of Galwan is a patriotic drama based on a real-life incident — the 2020 clash in Galwan Valley between Indian and Chinese soldiers. The incident became one of the most talked-about military standoffs in recent history, as it was fought without any gunfire, high up in the Himalayan mountains.
Last week, Salman Khan shared the film’s first look motion poster. It showed him dressed as an Indian Army soldier, his face marked with blood and determination. The poster also had a powerful line:
“Over 15,000 feet above sea level, India fought its most brutal battle without firing a single bullet.”
Behind the Scenes: Director, Music, and More
The movie is being directed by Apoorva Lakhia, who is known for films like Shootout at Lokhandwala. It is produced by Salman Khan Films, the superstar’s own production company.
Popular music director Himesh Reshammiya will be composing the music for the film. While fans are eager to know the release date, it has not been officially announced yet.

Before Battle of Galwan, Salman was seen in the action drama Sikandar alongside Rashmika Mandanna. The film was directed by AR Murugadoss but unfortunately did not perform well at the box office. However, fans are hopeful that Battle of Galwan will bring Salman back in full force.
