Taking to Instagram, the team shared the announcement video with the caption, “Aakhri hissa baaki hai (The final chapter remains). In cinemas on 2nd October, 2026.” The video features Ajay Devgn reprising his much-loved role as Vijay Salgaonkar, delivering an intense monologue that reflects the emotional and moral battles he has fought over the years.

In the monologue, Vijay speaks about how truth can vary from person to person, but firmly states that his only unchanging truth is his family. During the trailer launch of De De Pyaar De 2, the actor had teased fans by saying that something special related to Drishyam 3 would be unveiled in December. “It will get launched in December. Once that film is launched, we’ll be able to talk about it,” he had revealed at the event.

Adding to the buzz, Mohanlal recently announced the wrap of the Malayalam version of Drishyam 3. Industry chatter suggests that both the Malayalam and Hindi versions are being developed simultaneously, ensuring consistency in storytelling while catering to their respective audiences.
