Filmmaker Pierre Morel’s upcoming movie, Freelance, of the action/comedy genre, is already creating a buzz. Written by Jacob Lentz, the movie stars John Cena, Alison Brie, Juan Pablo Raba, and Christian Slater.
The movie is about an ex-Special Force officer who takes a job as a security personnel to a journalist who has taken the assignment of interviewing a dictator. In a strange turn of events a military coup breaks in the middle of the interview. The duo is now forced to escape into the jungle where they must find a way to survive.
The filming of Freelance began last year in Columbia.
It was slated to release on 6th October but now it has been delayed. The movie will hit theaters on 27th October and is one of the most awaited releases in the last quarter of 2023.
