In an interview with Hindi Rush, Sunita Ahuja shared details about their current living situation. She explained that they have two houses, one being a bungalow and the other an apartment. Sunita, along with their children, stays in the apartment, while Govinda often spends time at the bungalow due to his late-night meetings and gatherings.
She said, “We have a bungalow opposite our apartment. I stay in the apartment with my kids and my temple. Govinda often stays in the bungalow because he loves talking to people and spends time with them late at night.”
Is a Marathi Actress Involved?
Govinda’s alleged relationship with a Marathi actress might have caused a strain in his marriage. However, no concrete evidence supports this claim. A report by Bollywood Now hinted at this being a major factor in their split.
Separation Notice Sent?
As per ETimes, a source revealed that Sunita had sent a separation notice a few months ago. However, no legal proceedings have been initiated so far. On the other hand, Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, dismissed the rumors and clarified that any issues between the couple stem from certain family-related statements. He also mentioned that Govinda is focused on his new film project, which has led to increased visits from artists and professionals to his office.
Sunita’s Thoughts on Their Relationship
In her interview with Hindi Rush, Sunita laughed when asked about Govinda’s romantic side. She expressed her disappointment over their lack of quality time together.
“I have told him that in my next life, he should not be my husband. He never goes on holidays. I love going out and eating street food like pani-puri with my husband. But he was always busy with work. We never even went out to watch a movie together,” she said.

Govinda and Sunita tied the knot in March 1987. However, they kept their marriage a secret until after the birth of their daughter, Tina, in 1988. The couple later welcomed their son, Yashvardhan, in 1997.
