Social Media & Content Professional

The Role
We are not looking for someone whose idea of social media is simply posting a supplied poster with a few hashtags.

We want someone who can find the story behind the content.

You should be able to look at an event, artist, video, photograph, interview or piece of information and think: What would make someone stop scrolling and pay attention to this?

What You’ll Do
• Create engaging social media content for Jay-Ho.Com
• Develop posts, captions, reels, stories and short-form content
• Turn event information into interesting and shareable stories
• Create content around artists, entertainment and live experiences
• Support Jay-Ho.Com ticketing and event campaigns
• Develop content calendars and maintain consistent publishing schedules
• Identify timely trends and relevant content opportunities
• Work with existing photos, videos and event assets to create fresh content
• Coordinate basic creative requirements for graphics and videos
• Help grow audience engagement and brand recognition
• Monitor content performance and learn what works
• Assist with website/editorial content where required
• Maintain a consistent Jay-Ho.Com voice across digital channels

We value ideas over volume.

We would rather create one piece of content that people remember, share or act upon than publish ten predictable posts simply to fill a calendar.

We want someone who understands that good digital content should create curiosity, conversation or action.

• Strong written English
• Good understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and short-form video
• Ability to write strong hooks and concise social copy
• Understanding of reels, stories and platform-specific content
• Basic visual and video-editing skills
• Strong sense of storytelling and audience psychology
• Ability to work quickly around events and time-sensitive content
• Awareness of entertainment and digital-media trends
• Attention to detail and brand consistency
• Ability to work independently and bring new ideas to the table

Knowledge of tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud or similar content-creation platforms is valuable.

Experience in entertainment, events, media, music, ticketing or lifestyle content would be an advantage.
