Bollywood stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Vicky Kaushal recently sat down for a light-hearted and fun chat, and their conversation had fans smiling. Even though the two have never worked in a film together, their chemistry during the interview was natural and engaging. In fact, they were supposed to be part of Karan Johar’s movie Takht back in 2020, but the project never took off. While fans still hope to see them share the screen, this interview gave a small glimpse of what that would be like.
Celebrating Career Milestones
Kareena Kapoor, who has been ruling Bollywood for 25 years now, and Vicky Kaushal, who recently completed a decade in the industry, shared their thoughts on acting, food, and life. The conversation took a humorous turn when they spoke about food habits—and Katrina Kaif came up!
Kareena Kapoor Talks About Punjabi Food Love
Kareena, being a proud Punjabi, spoke about her love for traditional, hearty meals. Laughing, she said, “These Punjabis, I have that gene yaar. I mean you and your wife, you don’t eat only.” She teased Vicky about his wife, Katrina Kaif, saying, “I think she’s made you like that. You’re also only eating salmon fish now!”
Kareena went on to say that there was a time when Katrina was only eating salmon, probably during her super-fit days while filming Dhoom 3. Vicky agreed and added that he had heard stories about Katrina and Aamir Khan both surviving on just salmon and vegetables during that time.
The Paratha Confession
While talking about diets, Kareena made a surprising confession that left Vicky amazed. She revealed that even during her famous “size zero” phase for the movie Tashan in 2008, she still ate parathas for breakfast.
“I did Tashan. But I used to eat paratha for breakfast during Tashan also. Yes! I was never on this orange juice-only size zero diet,” Kareena said proudly. She explained that she would balance her meals by starting the day with a filling breakfast and tapering down her food intake through the day.
Food = Emotion for Kareena and Vicky
Both stars agreed that food is an emotional experience for them. Vicky, who also comes from a Punjabi background, could relate to Kareena’s love for traditional meals. Kareena even added that she still needs to have her aloo paratha with white butter every few days, no matter what.
This candid conversation between Kareena Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal gave fans a peek into their real personalities. While they may live glamorous lives, their love for comfort food and simple pleasures makes them even more relatable. And who knows—maybe a film collaboration is still on the cards!
