Karishma Kapoor took to social media and posted some photos today from her sister’s birthday bash with the caption, “Happy Birthday to my lifeline.” Kareena prefers low-key birthday celebrations at home with her family. This year too it was held at her husband Saif Ali Khan’s ancestral Pataudi Palace in the presence of her sister and the others.
Incidentally, Kareena debuts on the OTT platform today with the Netflix release, Jaane Jaan. The actress has also posted a LIVE from the film on Instagram saying, “The LIVE you didn’t see coming…unfolding one mystery at a time.”
Sujoy Ghosh’s Jaane Jaan is a mystery-thriller adapted from the Japanese novel, The Devotion of Suspect X by Keigo Higashino. Kareena had earlier said, “I have always wanted to be a part of a moody thriller…something that I love to watch…and it’s finally coming to you tomorrow.”
The audience is already praising Kareena’s de-glam look. Kareena commented that her fans have always been used to seeing her in glamorous roles. But in Jaane Jaan, they will see her in a totally different look.
The thriller is adapted from the third story in the Detective Galileo series which is the most popular one. The actress exclaimed that she was extremely nervous as people will see her up close in their homes for the first time which would be a totally different experience for them.
The Bollywood diva is believed to enjoy a private life with her husband, children, parents, sister, and a close-knit of friends. The recently shared photos of her prove it well. Kareena is seen glowing in her casual outfit smiling blissfully.
