As Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups moves closer to its highly anticipated theatrical release, the makers have unveiled a striking new poster revealing Nayanthara as Ganga. The film, headlined by Rocking Star Yash, is scheduled to hit theatres on March 19, 2026.

The newly released first look presents Nayanthara in a commanding avatar—poised, lethal, and formidable—instantly establishing her as a key force within the film’s dark and immersive universe.

Nayanthara as Ganga: A Defining Presence

Known for her versatility and emotional depth, Nayanthara steps into a darker, more intense space with Toxic. In the poster, she is seen wielding a gun with calm authority, set against the opulence of a grand casino backdrop. The visual frames Ganga as a character who exudes control, confidence, and quiet danger.

The first look has further amplified anticipation for the film, positioning Nayanthara’s character as one of the most intriguing elements of the narrative.

Director Geetu Mohandas on Casting Nayanthara

Director Geetu Mohandas shared her thoughts on casting Nayanthara, saying:

“We all know Nayan as a celebrated star with a commanding screen presence and a remarkable career spanning two decades. But in Toxic, audiences will witness a talent that had been quietly waiting to explode. As the shoot progressed, I realised how closely her own personality aligned with the soul of Ganga. It wasn’t imitation—it was alignment.”

She added that Nayanthara’s depth, restraint, and emotional clarity were intrinsic qualities that elevated the character beyond performance.

A Film with Global Ambitions

After redefining box office records with KGF: Chapter 2, Yash returns with Toxic, a project that continues to generate strong buzz across film industries.

Earlier reveals from the film include Kiara Advani as Nadia and Huma Qureshi as Elizabeth, each unveiling adding layers of intrigue to the story’s world.

Written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas and directed by Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups has been filmed simultaneously in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and other languages.
