Vineet Kumar Singh is not just another face in Bollywood. He is an actor, writer, Ayurveda doctor, and most importantly, an inspiration to many aspiring artists. His journey to success has been a long and challenging one, but his unwavering spirit has kept him going through it all.
In a recent interview with Jay-Ho! The Jay Kumar Show, Vineet opened up about the struggles he faced in his acting career. He talked about the emptiness that actors feel when they don’t have any work, how they have to constantly fight to stay afloat, and how he used to cry under his pillow to hide his pain.
“There were tough days. I used to hide my face and cry on a pillow. I didn’t want my roommates to know if I was crying. Because, you have no idea about where to go, what to do, how to do it. You gather strength and go for some work in the morning, but till dusk, you are again broken, and when you lie down in your bed, all alone you think, what is happening,” Vineet said.
It’s hard to imagine the pain that Vineet must have felt during those times. The uncertainty of not knowing what the future holds, the constant struggle to find work, and the fear of failure can be overwhelming for anyone. But Vineet persevered, and he learned to take things one day at a time.
“In an actor’s life, when there is no work, there is a lot of emptiness. Other people have jobs and they go to offices, but when an actor has completed his one project, he has nothing to do. So, in that time, no need to worry, just sulk, enjoy that particular day, meet your friends. Make that day. Gather all your strength to survive your present day because every force will try to break you down. So, today when I look at people going through the same, I understand them. I respect that,” Vineet shared.
Despite his success, Vineet believes that actors should never be satisfied with their work. “It’s a good thing,” he says. “It means that you’re always striving to do something better and bigger.” And that’s exactly what Vineet is doing. He had big dreams, and he came from a small city to a big city to fulfill them. “For dreams, you don’t have to pay for any ticket,” he says. “There is a thought in your heart, and you start chasing them.” And that’s exactly what he did. He may have had no idea what to do next at times, but he always learned, adapted, and moved on.
Vineet believes that success is not just about talent, but also about perseverance and hard work. “If you try and help yourself, then somebody from somewhere will surely help you,” he says. And that’s exactly what happened with him.
Vineet’s story is a shining example to the fact that success in any field requires hard work, dedication, and resilience. Even when things are tough, it’s important to keep pushing forward and never give up on your dreams. Vineet’s experience teaches us that it’s okay to cry, to feel lost and to hide under your pillow, but the most important thing is to get up, brush yourself off, and keep moving forward.
Vineet Kumar Singh is a man who has not only pursued his passion but also inspired many to do the same. His journey is proof that with hard work and perseverance, anything is possible. So if you’re struggling, remember Vineet’s words: “Gather all your strength to survive your present day because every force will try to break you down.”
