Superstar Rajinikanth is all set to make a triumphant return to the silver screen with his upcoming action-packed film “Jailer.” With the movie scheduled for release on August 10, anticipation is soaring to new heights, leading to some offices in southern India announcing a holiday on its release day.
The announcement, coupled with the buzz surrounding the film, underscores the magnetic pull of Rajinikanth’s star power. The film has recorded over 612,000 ticket sales on BookMyShow, including 85.53 thousand tickets on Saturday, 233.15 thousand on Sunday, and 293.33 thousand on Monday. Notably, the movie has also made waves in the international market, particularly in the US, where it has become director Nelson Dilipkumar’s highest-grossing premiere, with advance sales reaching around $664,000 as of Monday.
