With the release of its first song Madari, the makers of the upcoming fantasy comedy Rahu Ketu have ignited a wave of excitement among fans. Starring Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, and Shalini Pandey, the film is set to hit theatres in January 2026, and the newly released track is already being hailed as the “next big party anthem.”

Pulkit Samrat on Entering the Fantasy Genre
Pulkit Samrat, who headlines the film, previously shared his excitement about the fantasy-comedy at the India Entertainment Awards 2025.
He said:
“There is a very nice fantasy and I am very excited because ye meri pehli fantasy film hai. I have grown up watching fantasy films like Ajooba and Chhota Chetan, and to be a part of a fantasy film today is the most exciting part for me.”
Directed by Vipul Vig and produced by Zee Studios, Rahu Ketu features an ensemble cast including Shalini Pandey, Chunky Panday, Piyush Mishra, Amit Sial, and Manurishi Chadha. While plot details remain tightly guarded, the film promises a visually rich, whimsical adventure filled with fantasy-driven storytelling.
Rahu Ketu is slated to release on January 16, 2026.
Pulkit Samrat’s Upcoming Projects
Apart from Rahu Ketu, Pulkit Samrat is gearing up for his OTT debut with the Netflix series Glory, a sports-crime thriller directed by Karan Anshuman and Karmanya Ahuja.
In the series, Pulkit plays a boxer, marking a new phase in his career. The show also stars Divyenndu and Suvinder Vicky in pivotal roles, and is produced by Atomic Films.
