The Netflix film Jaane Jaan is receiving a lot of praise. The audience is enjoying the performances of the individual actors. In a recent interview, Saurabh Sachdeva opened up about working with Kareena Kapoor Khan on the Sujoy Ghosh movie.

In an interview with ETimes, Saurabh said working in this film was a “highly professional and enjoyable experience” for him. He said Kareena “respects an actor’s space and allows them to express themselves.” Sachdeva, who played the antagonist in Jaane Jaan admitted he was initially nervous to work alongside Kareena but then he realized she was an easy person to work with.

Incidentally, Saurabh Sachdeva apart from being an incredible villain is also an acting coach who had trained some established actors like Varun Dhawan and Richa Chadha in the initial days of their career. The actor informed that though he was training other actors he was hesitant to try a hand at acting himself. He came to Mumbai and started his acting journey much later and then he got a great opportunity to work in Sacred Games. His next release would be the Ranbir Kapoor-Anil Kapoor starrer gangster drama Animal.

Jaane Jaan is a mystery-thriller adapted from the Japanese novel, The Devotion of Suspect X by Keigo Higashino. It’s been the second highest-selling book in Japan and an international bestseller published in 2005. It’s the third story in the Detective Galileo series and so far, is the most popular one.

The film is about how a brilliant professor going through an existential crisis helps solve a murder case. It also portrays an unrequited love story amid thrill and suspense.

Jaane Jaan is set in Kalimpong depicting a single mother trying to cover up the murder of her estranged husband with the help of her neighbor.

During the press conference, the actress revealed that she was more nervous than when she made her debut in movies about 23 years ago. As with Jaane Jaan, the audience would be able to see her up close in their homes, and not in a usual big-screen theater. The director, Sujoy Ghosh earlier remarked the movie has a complex theme and each character has many layers to them.
