Shaan recently shared a heartwarming picture on social media, capturing the essence of Raksha Bandhan. In the snapshot, he can be seen tying a rakhi to his elder sister Sagarika Mukerjee. In an interview a few years ago, Shaan attributed his transformation into a singing sensation to the support of his sister Sagarika. “It was my elder sister Sagarika who encouraged me to take up singing,” he admitted, highlighting the immense impact of her support on his success today.
Sagarika, an accomplished singer herself, recognized the potential synergy between their talents. She approached Shaan when he was just 17, with the idea of venturing into the music world together. With Sagarika’s encouragement and belief, Shaan transitioned from a career in desktop publishing to the music industry at 22. Today, he stands as one of the industry’s most versatile voices.
