Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in the Vishal Bharadwaj movie Khufiya in an ‘indirect cameo’ as confirmed by sources. Now the ace filmmaker has also confirmed he will work with SRK in a film soon. In a recent interview with News 18, Vishal Bharadwaj said he may soon work with King Khan. The filmmaker admitted that they have been trying to work together on a movie for ages. ‘At one point, we came very close to doing a film.’ But somehow nothing was finalized.
The Bollywood filmmaker said even Shah Rukh Khan has a feeling now that he has made an indirect cameo appearance in Khufiya, he would soon be featured in a Vishal Bharadwaj movie. He said after watching Jawan he had even called up SRK and conveyed his opinions on the movie.
Bharadwaj’s upcoming movie Khufiya is based on Amar Bhusan’s novel, ‘Escape to Nowhere.’ The word ‘Khufiya’ means ‘secret’ in English. Recently, the trailer of Vishal Bhardwaj’s new movie, Khufiya has been released. The film is a neo-noir spy thriller to be released as a Netflix original although its release date has not been announced. The celebrated filmmaker is well respected for creating distinctive cinema and to date, almost all of his films have been able to entice the audience. Tabu is the lead actor in the film doing the role of an Indian spy. The film also has Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Ashish Vidyarthi in important roles.
Shah Rukh Khan, on the other hand, is riding high on his success with blockbuster hits Pathan and Jawan this year. SRK’s third film this year, Dunki will be released during Christmas. Directed by well-known filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, Dunki is a social comedy-drama based on an illegal immigration method called “Donkey Flight” or the illegitimate backdoor way to enter nations like the USA or Canada.
