It seems like Shah Rukh Khan fans are in for a massive birthday treat! Reports suggest that the superstar’s much-awaited first look from his upcoming action drama King might be unveiled on his 60th birthday — November 2, 2025.

Makers Planning A Big Birthday Surprise

According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the makers of King are planning an official announcement of the film on SRK’s special day, along with the release of his first look. A source revealed, “King hasn’t been formally announced yet, and the team decided to make it official on November 2 — King Khan’s birthday is the perfect occasion!”

The insider also hinted that a short teaser or glimpse of Shah Rukh Khan’s look will accompany the announcement. “The makers are confident that it’ll create huge buzz and set the tone for the film’s campaign,” they added.

What We Know About ‘King’ So Far

King is described as a massive action drama directed by Siddharth Anand, known for blockbusters like Pathaan and War. The film is expected to combine high-octane action with deep emotional layers, a hallmark of Anand’s storytelling.

The movie stars Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role, with his daughter Suhana Khan playing a pivotal part — marking their first on-screen collaboration.

Star-Studded Ensemble Cast

Apart from the father-daughter duo, King also features a stellar ensemble including Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Jaideep Ahlawat, Arshad Warsi, Raghav Juyal, Akshay Oberoi, Jackie Shroff, and Karanvir Malhotra. Munjya actor Abhay Verma will also be seen in a significant role.

SRK’s Vision For The Film

During the Locarno Film Festival, Shah Rukh Khan revealed that King will be a “cool, massy, action-emotional” Hindi film — something he has been wanting to do for years. He said,

“It is an action drama. I’ve been wanting to do a film like this for some time. We just felt Siddharth would be the right choice, because we wanted it to be very emotionally correct.”

He further shared during an event in Abu Dhabi,

“My director, Siddharth Anand, is very strict. He made Pathaan also. He has asked me not to reveal what we are doing. I can’t tell you, but I can assure you it will be entertaining.”

Fans Can’t Wait For The ‘King’ Era To Begin

With Shah Rukh Khan turning 60 and King set to mark his grand return to the action genre, anticipation is sky-high. If the reports turn out to be true, SRK’s birthday might bring the most royal gift his fans could ask for — the first glimpse of the King himself.
