Sharib Hashmi, known for his role as JK in “The Family Man,” recently returned to the sets to start filming the much-anticipated third season alongside Manoj Bajpayee. Reflecting on the first day of shooting, Sharib describes it as a celebration and a reunion. “It felt like a big family gathering,” he says. The entire cast, including Priyamani and the actors playing Bajpayee’s on-screen kids and task force members, were present. “My excitement was through the roof,” Sharib adds.
Sharib Hashmi’s Admiration for Manoj Bajpayee
Sharib Hashmi has nothing but praise for his co-star Manoj Bajpayee. “I cherish every moment with Manoj sir,” he says. “I am always eager to shoot with him because I know we will create magic together. I learn so much from his discipline and dedication to his work and life. If I can incorporate even 5 percent of his qualities, my life would be successful.” Sharib admires how Manoj constantly reinvents himself, bringing something new to his roles every day.
Manoj Bajpayee’s Growth as an Actor
When asked about Manoj Bajpayee’s growth since the last season, Sharib is quick to point out the incredible work his co-star has done. “He was amazing in ‘Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai’ (2023),” Sharib notes. “Then, he took on a physically, mentally, and emotionally challenging role in ‘Joram’ (2023) and executed it perfectly. In ‘Killer Soup,’ he played a crazy character with such intensity. These roles are so diverse, and no ordinary actor can perform them like Manoj sir.”
Exciting New Season
Sharib shared some details about the upcoming season of “The Family Man.” Unlike the second season, which was set in Chennai, the third season will explore a different part of India. “Most of our shoot is outdoors,” Sharib reveals. “The audience can expect multiple surprises this season.” He also mentioned the next shoot schedule is in June in Mumbai, followed by a few days in July. “Depending on everyone’s availability, the shoot will be on and off, but we aim to wrap up by December,” he concludes.
