There have been speculations of yet another departure from The Kapil Sharma Show, this time including famed comic Sidharth Sagar. Now, though, Sidharth has denied all of these reports. The comedian claimed that it was simply more fake news.
Sidharth stated in an interview that “There is nothing like this. The news is entirely false.” Adding, when asked if he is filming for the forthcoming episodes of the show, “For the most recent few episodes, I didn’t shoot. However, I just spoke with the team.
Sidharth Sagar, has delighted and entertained fans everywhere with his comic acts such as Selfie Mausi, Ustaad Gharchordas, Funveer Singh, and Sagar Pagletu. In previous episode Sidharth’s act as Funveer Singh, which is an impersonation of Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, drew plaudits from the actor himself. Donning a pink suit, Sidharth perfectly captured Ranveer’s contagious energy, a vibrant attitude, and a vivacious on-screen presence. During his performance, Sidharth said, “While playing Ranveer in front of the powerhouse himself was an honor for me, it was also difficult.” He added that Ranveer was an incredible actor he had ever encountered and had spoken well of their set interaction. “I am thankful that I got to spend some time with Ranveer Singh.” He also praised the actor for taking the act graciously which gave him confidence.
Prior to Sidharth Sagar, comedian Krushna Abhishek had opted out of The Kapil Sharma Show over pay disagreements. However, there were also rumors of a rift between the two of them and that things between him and Kapil Sharma were not good.
Sidharth, who has been tickling our funny bones with his hilarious performances and impeccable comic timing, recently joined Jay-Ho! The Jay Kumar Show as well.
