Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal is slated to release on December 1 of this year. The film’s teaser is grabbing attention already. Produced by T-series, Animal is a gangster drama exploring the troubled relationship between a son and his father. Reportedly, actor Ranbir Kapoor reduced his fee in this film to improve the production value for the same. As per a report by Pinkvilla, Ranbir charges a whopping fee of around ₹ 70 crore per movie. For Animal, he had cut his fees by 50 percent. According to sources, the Rockstar actor was so impressed with the script he is doing his best so that the production standard of the movie is upgraded.
Of course, this is not a new thing in Bollywood. Earlier Shahid Kapoor has also worked for free in the Vishal Bhardwaj movie, Haider. And as per Pinkvilla reports, Ranbir Kapoor has reduced his fee to around ₹ 30 crore for Animal.

The teaser for Animal was released on Ranbir Kapoor’s birthday and the first look of the film is creating a buzz on social media. The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Tripti Dimri in key roles. Earlier Anil Kapoor took to Instagram and shared a photo of his character in Animal. He looked wounded and almost unrecognizable in the picture. Anil captioned the photo writing, “Animal Ka Baap…Balbir Singh.” Actress Rashmika Mandanna has also posted a photo on Instagram and introduced her character with a caption, “Your Geetanjali” followed by a heart emoji. Rashmika looks absolutely stunning in the picture wearing a gorgeous maroon saree. The film was shot in Delhi, Punjab, and foreign locations like England and Scotland.
Fans are praising the bare-chested Bobby Deol’s act in the last scene of the trailer. Animal is an action thriller that will be released in multiple languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
