Kussh Sinha Finally Clears the Air on Sonakshi’s Wedding — “Just Because I’m Not in the Pics Doesn’t Mean I Wasn’t There!”

Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding to Zaheer Iqbal was one of the most talked-about Bollywood events in 2024. But, while fans celebrated the union, some couldn’t help but notice something—or rather, someone—missing from the celebration photos. Her brothers, Kussh and Luv Sinha, were noticeably absent from every wedding post on social media, which sent gossip mills into overdrive.

Speculation began swirling. Was there tension in the Sinha family? Was it because of Zaheer and Sonakshi’s interfaith marriage? Were the brothers against the match?

“If You Don’t See Me, Doesn’t Mean I Wasn’t There.”

In a recent interview with Zoom, Kussh finally broke his silence and addressed all the drama. And let’s just say—he kept it real.

He made it very clear that just because he wasn’t in the photos doesn’t mean he didn’t attend. “If you can’t see me in the pics, it doesn’t mean I wasn’t there. I don’t need to put everything out there every time,” he said. And honestly, that’s fair. Not everyone wants to turn family moments into photo ops for the internet. Kussh also pointed out that people love to fuel rumors based on half-truths and assumptions. But just because the buzz is loud, doesn’t mean it’s accurate.

His calm and grounded response pretty much shut down the noise around him “skipping” the wedding.

What About Luv Sinha?

Of course, the question that followed was: okay, but what about Luv? Unlike Kussh, Sonakshi’s other brother, Luv Sinha, wasn’t seen and hadn’t commented—until now.

Kussh, however, kept it classy and didn’t speak on behalf of his brother. “I just put it simply because I don’t want to comment on Luv’s behalf. I think everybody is allowed to have their individual stances,” he said.He didn’t deny or confirm Luv’s presence. What he did do was make it clear that everyone in their family is an adult and entitled to their own opinions, reactions, and ways of showing support—or not.

Respecting Sonakshi’s Choices

One of the most important things Kussh emphasized was respect—especially for Sonakshi and her choices.

“She’s an adult. It’s her life. She’s not doing anything illegal,” he stated.

Boom. Simple, mature, and respectful. Kussh reminded everyone that, at the end of the day, this is about his sister’s happiness. Whether or not every family member agrees with every decision, they can still support each other in their own way.And sometimes, support doesn’t always come with Instagram stories or wedding selfies. It’s personal, and that’s okay.

“I’m Cool with Zaheer.”

So what about the rumors that Kussh had issues with Zaheer Iqbal, his new brother-in-law? Again, Kussh shut that down gently but firmly.

He confirmed that things are totally cordial between them. “We’re okay. I have nothing against Zaheer,” he said.

No beef. No tension. No drama.

And honestly, that reassurance was probably needed. Social media, after all, loves jumping to conclusions. A couple of missing faces in a photo album and suddenly people are writing a full-blown family feud script.

Privacy Over Publicity

Kussh’s whole tone during the interview highlighted something a lot of us forget: not everything needs to be public.

In today’s world, if something’s not on Instagram, people assume it didn’t happen. But as Kussh subtly reminded us — real life is a little more private, a little more complex, and doesn’t always come with a “like” button. While he didn’t go into major details or throw anyone under the bus (which, respect!), he did enough to calm the chaos and put an end to the wild theories.
