Lock Upp 2: Akanksha Choudhary Reveals She Was Abandoned By Family At 19 After Eviction, Says ‘I Still Don’t Have A Room At Home’

Akanksha Choudhary has opened up about one of the most painful chapters of her life after getting evicted from Lock Upp 2. The reality TV contestant revealed her final secret during a conversation with Tejasswi Prakash, sharing that she was abandoned by her family when she was just 19 years old after taking a stand for her mother.

Akanksha and Pamala Serena were eliminated from the Netflix reality show just days before the grand finale. While she had already revealed two personal secrets inside the show, she decided to disclose her third and final secret only after her eviction, calling it “too dark” to reveal earlier.

Akanksha Choudhary Says She Was Asked To Leave Her Home At 19

When Tejasswi Prakash asked if she wanted to reveal her last secret, Akanksha initially hesitated.

“It’s too dark,” she admitted.

However, she eventually opened up about the incident.

“When I was 19, I was abandoned by my family because I took a stand for my mother. Someone had insulted her very badly. I couldn’t tolerate it and created a huge scene. I said all sorts of things to that person.”

Akanksha revealed that her mother was struggling emotionally and physically at the time. Concerned about her health, she called her father and asked him to return home.

Instead of receiving support, Akanksha claimed she was asked to leave the house.

“They told me, ‘Maybe if you leave, then everything will be okay.’ Those were the exact words.”

‘I Still Don’t Have A Room In My House’

The reality star further revealed that although her mother later requested her to return home, things have never been the same.

According to Akanksha, she still does not have a room of her own in the family house.

“My mother couldn’t bear it anymore and called me back. I returned home, but I still don’t have a room there. Whenever I go, my belongings are kept in the prayer room. I sleep with my parents because I don’t have my own space.”

She added that this experience has motivated her to settle independently in Mumbai.

“I’m planning to settle in Mumbai now.”

Why Akanksha Chose To Reveal Her Final Secret

Akanksha explained that since she had already shared two deeply personal secrets on Lock Upp 2, she felt it was only right to reveal the final one after leaving the show.

“I felt that if I had already committed three of my secrets to the show, then I should reveal this one too.”

Her emotional revelation has sparked conversations among viewers, with many praising her courage for speaking openly about her difficult past.

Akanksha Opens Up About Yogesh Rawat

During the same conversation, Akanksha also spoke about her equation with fellow contestant Yogesh Rawat, whom she first met on Splitsvilla X6.

Asked whether she has feelings for him, Akanksha admitted that her emotions remain complicated.

“Mixed feelings hain.”

Despite the confusion, she said she wants Yogesh to lift the Lock Upp 2 trophy. However, she jokingly added that the two should avoid doing another reality show together.

“From now on, we will never do a reality show together again,” she laughed.
