Sunny Deol vs Esha Deol at the Box Office! Suryaa and Pratap Set November 20 Release

Sunny Deol and Esha Deol could find themselves competing for moviegoers’ attention this November, with their respective films, Suryaa: Ant Se Aarambh Tak and Pratap, scheduled to release in theatres on November 20, 2026. The shared release date creates an unusual box-office talking point, bringing a father and daughter’s separate film projects to cinemas on the same day.

Sunny Deol will headline Suryaa: Ant Se Aarambh Tak, a crime thriller directed by M. Padmakumar. Meanwhile, Pratap, directed by Sachin Saraf, stars Amit Sadh alongside Esha Deol and an ensemble cast. If both release dates remain unchanged, audiences will have two crime-focused films to choose from on the same weekend.

Sunny Deol’s Suryaa Set for November 20 Release

Sunny Deol recently unveiled the first look and motion poster of Suryaa: Ant Se Aarambh Tak, offering a glimpse of his rugged appearance in the film. Directed by M. Padmakumar, the crime thriller revolves around hidden secrets, unanswered questions and the pursuit of justice.

The film also features Ravi Kishan and Pragya Jaiswal in significant roles. It is presented by Kamal Mukut and produced by Deepak Mukut, Hemant Mukut and Lokesh Mukut.

With its crime-driven premise and Sunny Deol in the lead, Suryaa is positioned as a different theatrical offering from the actor’s recent large-scale action projects. Its November release will put the film in direct competition with other titles arriving around the same time.

Esha Deol Returns to Theatres With Pratap

Esha Deol is set to return to the big screen with Pratap, which is scheduled to release on November 20, 2026. The film stars Amit Sadh in the lead and marks Esha’s return to theatrical releases after an extended break.

Directed by Sachin Saraf and produced by Pradeep Rangwani under the UV Films banner, Pratap features Seema Biswas, Milind Gunaji and Tigmanshu Dhulia alongside Amit and Esha.

Amit Sadh plays a decorated Mumbai encounter specialist. The film’s first look offers an initial glimpse of his character, suggesting a story rooted in crime and law enforcement. Further plot details will help establish how the film approaches its central themes.

Sunny Deol and Esha Deol’s Films Share a Release Date

The simultaneous release of Suryaa and Pratap gives the November 20 box-office lineup an added family connection. Sunny Deol and Esha Deol are appearing in separate films rather than sharing the screen, but their projects are currently scheduled to arrive in cinemas on the same date.

The overlap could attract attention from fans of the Deol family, while the films’ different casts and creative teams may appeal to different sections of the audience. Their box-office performance will depend on factors including audience response, screen availability, reviews and competition from other releases.

However, a shared release date does not automatically mean one film will outperform the other. Advance bookings and audience reactions closer to release should provide a clearer indication of how the two films are positioned.

What to Expect From the November 20 Box Office Clash

Both films have crime-focused premises, but they approach the genre through separate stories and casts. Suryaa: Ant Se Aarambh Tak centres on secrets, unanswered questions and justice, while Pratap follows a Mumbai encounter specialist played by Amit Sadh.

For Esha Deol, Pratap marks a return to theatrical cinema. For Sunny Deol, Suryaa adds another crime thriller to his upcoming film slate. Their shared release date creates an unusual headline, but the films will ultimately need to attract audiences on their own merits.

As November 20 approaches, official updates from the makers will be important for confirming whether both films retain their scheduled dates. If they do, the two releases will bring Sunny and Esha Deol’s separate projects to theatres on the same day.
