Hanuman Ansh may have become one of 2026’s biggest box-office success stories, but disagreements within the film’s core team have reportedly brought its future into question. The devotional biopic on Neem Karoli Baba, reportedly made on a budget of ₹2 crore, earned ₹452.86 crore worldwide, according to Sacnilk. However, differences involving director Dr Vishal Chaturvedi and producers Namrata G Singh, Ragini Sona and Anupriya Nagar have now come into focus.

The reported dispute centres on publicity, representation and authority over the film’s rights. With discussions around a possible second instalment also emerging, the disagreement has raised questions about the franchise’s next steps. However, the makers have not officially announced Hanuman Ansh 2.

What Is the Hanuman Ansh Dispute About?

The differences reportedly developed over how the film was being represented publicly and whether all members of the production team were receiving appropriate visibility. A few weeks ago, SCREEN had reported that some members of the team were unhappy with one producer allegedly receiving more prominence than the others.

The matter has now taken a more formal turn, with Namrata G Singh and Dr Vishal Chaturvedi issuing a detailed statement through Swambhu Media Network. Identifying themselves as Executive Directors, they outlined who is authorised to represent the company and handle matters related to the film’s publicity, marketing, awards, partnerships and rights.

The statement began with a clear declaration: “Hanuman Ansh has one authorised channel.”

It also referred to the film’s subject, Neem Karoli Baba, who is revered by devotees at Kainchi Dham and beyond. The company said it was issuing the clarification in response to multiple reports circulating in the media and film market.

Makers Issue Statement Over Hanuman Ansh Rights

One of the strongest points in the statement concerned individuals allegedly claiming authority to deal with the film’s rights. Swambhu Media Network said that no individual had independent authority to represent the film in such matters.

“The Company is aware that an individual is representing themselves as authorised to deal with the rights in the Film. No individual holds that authority,” the statement read.

The clarification also addressed the handling of the film’s intellectual property and commercial rights. These include theatrical, streaming, broadcast, music, gaming and licensing rights in India and international markets.

According to the statement, such matters must be handled in accordance with the agreements between the producers. It further identified Namrata G Singh and Dr Vishal Chaturvedi as the authorised representatives for publicity, marketing, awards and partnerships on behalf of the company.

The statement added, “Namrata G Singh and Dr. Vishal Chaturvedi are solely authorised to direct public relations, marketing, awards and partnerships on behalf of the Company. All day-to-day coordination with partners, platforms and media is carried out through them.”

Company Warns Against Independent Deals and Claims

The statement also outlined the responsibilities of shareholders and intellectual property owners. It said that anyone holding a stake in the company or owning rights connected to the film was expected to keep the Executive Directors informed about engagements involving the company or Hanuman Ansh.

It further warned against any individual or party acting independently in matters concerning the film.

“No party acting alone has authority to deal in the Film. Any such dealing is invalid and not binding on the Company or the Producers,” the statement said.

The company also cautioned against statements, award claims and business arrangements made outside the approved process. The clarification appears intended to establish a single channel for official communication and commercial decisions concerning the film.

However, the statement does not, by itself, establish the outcome of any legal proceedings or resolve the reported differences among the people involved.

Will Hanuman Ansh 2 Be Affected?

The reported disagreement has drawn attention partly because of the film’s extraordinary commercial performance and the possibility of a second instalment. With the franchise’s next chapter yet to receive an official announcement, questions remain about how the production team will move forward.

For now, the available statement focuses on representation, publicity and the handling of rights connected to the original film. It does not confirm that Hanuman Ansh 2 has been cancelled, delayed or formally put into production.

The film’s reported ₹452.86 crore worldwide collection has made its future an important talking point. Whether the current differences will affect plans for another instalment remains unclear.

Until the producers issue further details, the status of Hanuman Ansh 2 should be treated as unconfirmed.
