As the evening progressed, everyone engaged in singing and enjoyment. Huma, eager to showcase Akhil’s talent, introduced him to the crowd, describing him as the “real musician from Delhi.” She handed him a guitar, and Akhil began to sing. At Huma’s request, he performed a few lines of “Humsafar,” the very song he had played for her earlier. The crowd was captivated, entering a different zone altogether.
Impressed by Akhil’s performance, Shashank Khaitan approached him and introduced himself. Shashank expressed his desire to use “Humsafar” in his upcoming film “Badrinath Ki Dulhania,” even though the film was still in the early stages of development. Despite the shooting being scheduled to begin two years later, Shashank’s sincerity and genuineness compelled Akhil to trust him.
