Marvel fans have received another glimpse of Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom ahead of Avengers: Doomsday. Collectibles manufacturer Beast Kingdom has unveiled a miniature figure inspired by the iconic Marvel villain, showcasing his silver metallic mask, dark green hood and detailed armour.
The collectible has attracted attention because Marvel Studios has kept the character’s full appearance and role in the upcoming film largely under wraps. Although merchandise can offer a visual reference, the figure alone does not confirm every detail of Doctor Doom’s on-screen costume.
Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom Gets a New Collectible
Images of the new figure circulated online on October 19, after the social media account Avengers Updates shared a first look at the product. The collectible belongs to Beast Kingdom’s Egg Attack Action line and carries the product number EAA-175.
Designed in a stylised, chibi-inspired format, the figure features an oversized head and compact body while retaining Doctor Doom’s familiar visual elements. Its silver mask sits beneath a dark green hood and cloak, with glowing green eyes and small rivet details adding definition to the face.
The costume also includes layered armour, chainmail-style detailing and decorative clasps on the cloak. These features give the miniature a distinctive appearance while drawing on the character’s established design.
For fans following Downey Jr.’s transition from Iron Man to one of Marvel’s most recognisable villains, the figure offers another piece of merchandise to examine while anticipation builds for the film.
Doctor Doom Figure: Price, Size and Features
Retailer listings describe the Beast Kingdom EAA-175 as an officially licensed Marvel collectible measuring approximately 4.8 inches, or around 12.3 centimetres, tall. The figure is made from PVC and ABS plastic and has approximately 15 points of articulation.
It also comes with three pairs of interchangeable hands, including fists, gripping hands and open hands. These accessories allow collectors to arrange the figure in different display poses.
The listed US price is $47.99, while retailers have advertised an estimated release or delivery window in January 2027. Availability and delivery dates may vary by retailer, so buyers should check the latest listing before placing a pre-order.
The compact design distinguishes the Egg Attack Action figure from larger, more detailed collector editions. Its appeal lies in combining a recognisable Doctor Doom costume with a stylised format suited to display collections.
Could Doctor Doom Wear More Than One Costume in Avengers: Doomsday?
The Beast Kingdom release is part of a wider wave of merchandise connected to Avengers: Doomsday. Other collectible designs have also prompted speculation about whether Doctor Doom could appear in different outfits during the film.
The hooded cloak and armoured mask remain the most recognisable elements of the character’s look. However, reports discussing other merchandise designs have raised the possibility of an alternative outfit resembling formal travelling attire.
These designs should be treated cautiously. Collectibles can reflect a film’s character design, but they do not necessarily reveal when a costume appears, how it fits into the story or whether every detail will be reproduced exactly on screen. Marvel Studios has not confirmed the film’s full costume details through this merchandise reveal.
Robert Downey Jr.’s Return to Marvel as Doctor Doom
Downey Jr.’s casting as Doctor Doom marks a major change for the actor within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He previously became one of the franchise’s defining stars through his portrayal of Tony Stark, also known as Iron Man.
His return in a different role has made Doctor Doom one of the most closely watched elements of Avengers: Doomsday. The villain has a long history in Marvel comics, where he is known for his intelligence, armoured appearance and connection to the fictional nation of Latveria.
For now, the new Beast Kingdom figure provides a fresh look at a merchandise version of the character rather than a complete reveal of his cinematic design. Fans will have to wait for official footage or further announcements to learn more about how Doctor Doom will appear in the film.
