The wait is finally over for De De Pyaar De 2 fans! Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh have unveiled the teaser for the film’s second song, Jhoom Sharaabi, and it already looks like a blockbuster party anthem in the making. The full track is all set to release on October 29, just ahead of the film’s theatrical premiere.

Ajay Devgn Brings the Fun in ‘Jhoom Sharaabi’

Taking to Instagram, Ajay Devgn shared the teaser of Jhoom Sharaabi with the caption:

“Make way for the Uncles of the Parivaar to take over the dance floor! #JhoomSharaabi drops tomorrow. #PyaarVsParivaar #DeDePyaarDe2 in cinemas on 14th Nov.”

The teaser opens with Ajay and a group of middle-aged friends being stopped by bouncers at a nightclub entrance. When told they can’t enter, Ajay cheekily responds, “Beta, sab jagah youngsters party karenge toh uncle kahan party karenge?” The hilarious setup has already won hearts online, with fans calling it “relatable and riotous.”

De De Pyaar De 2’s First Song: A Romantic Delight

Earlier, the makers released the film’s first song, Raat Bhar, a soft, romantic melody sung by Aditya Rikhari and Payal Dev, composed by Payal Dev and Aditya Dev, with lyrics penned by Kumaar. The song beautifully captures the growing chemistry between Meezaan Jafri and Rakul Preet Singh.

Director Anshul Sharma shared, “We wanted to keep the fun element alive while showcasing a fresh and innocent bond between the leads. Payal and Aditya Dev perfectly understood the vibe, and Kumaar’s lyrics added depth and emotion.”

Singer Payal Dev added, “Raat Bhar is light, romantic, and playful — something that makes you smile and hum along.”

What We Know About the Film So Far

The trailer for De De Pyaar De 2 picks up right where the 2019 original left off. Aashish (Ajay Devgn) and Ayesha (Rakul Preet Singh) continue navigating their unconventional relationship, but this time, Aashish faces an even bigger challenge — impressing Ayesha’s parents, played by R. Madhavan and Gautami Kapoor.

What follows is a hilarious and emotional rollercoaster as the family discovers Aashish is nearly the same age as Ayesha’s father. The film also sees Jaaved Jaaferi reprising his role as Aashish’s quirky best friend.

Behind the Scenes

While the first De De Pyaar De was directed by Akiv Ali, the sequel is helmed by Anshul Sharma, with a story penned by Luv Ranjan. The film is jointly produced by Luv Films and T-Series, and is set to hit theatres on November 14, 2025.

Although Tabu will not be returning as Manju, Aashish’s ex-wife, the sequel introduces new faces like Ishita Dutta, adding freshness to the dynamic cast.

Jay-Ho Vibes

With Jhoom Sharaabi set to drop on October 29, the makers of De De Pyaar De 2 are turning up the excitement. From heartfelt romance to hilarious “uncle energy,” the film promises the perfect blend of fun, emotion, and nostalgia — a true family entertainer for the festive season.
