Star Plus has unveiled the title of its upcoming romantic family drama starring Gaurav Khanna and Shraddha Arya. Titled Dil Ki Bewafaiyaan, the show is produced by Ektaa R Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms and marks the first onscreen collaboration between the two television actors. While the title announcement has generated interest around the project, the channel has yet to confirm its premiere date.
The announcement promo offers the first official glimpse of the show’s identity after an earlier teaser featured Gaurav and Shraddha arriving at the Balaji Telefilms office. Their appearance had sparked speculation about a new television project bringing them together. The title reveal now confirms that the series will be called Dil Ki Bewafaiyaan.
Gaurav Khanna and Shraddha Arya Come Together for the First Time
The upcoming show brings together two familiar faces from Indian television. Gaurav Khanna is returning to daily fiction after his association with Anupamaa, while Shraddha Arya is making a comeback following her long-running stint on Kundali Bhagya.
The project also marks a new professional association for the actors. Shraddha has previously worked with Balaji Telefilms, whereas this will be Gaurav’s first collaboration with Ektaa R Kapoor’s production house.
For viewers familiar with their previous television roles, the pairing is a significant part of the show‘s announcement. However, the makers have not yet disclosed the characters they will play or shared details about the storyline.
Ektaa R Kapoor Shares Her Excitement About the Casting
Producer Ektaa R Kapoor had previously expressed her enthusiasm about bringing Gaurav and Shraddha together. She spoke about the audience’s affection for both performers and said she had wanted to see them share the screen for a long time.
“Both have earned so much love from viewers, and I’ve wanted to see them share the screen for a long time. Now that it’s finally happening, I’m excited, nervous, and already imagining how audiences will react to them together!” she said.
Ektaa also spoke about her interest in developing a new love story following the conclusion of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2.0. Reflecting on the response to her previous shows, she described the upcoming project as a new beginning for viewers.
“The love viewers have given my shows over the years means so much to me, and with every new story, I hope to give them something they’ll connect with just as deeply. Kyunki gave viewers a finale to remember. Now, it’s time to give them a new beginning they’ll fall in love with,” she said.
Dil Ki Bewafaiyaan: What We Know About the Launch
Preparations for Dil Ki Bewafaiyaan are reportedly underway. Gaurav Khanna and Shraddha Arya recently participated in a puja ahead of the project, with photographs and videos from the occasion circulating on social media.
Filming is yet to begin, according to the information currently available. The set of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2.0 is also reportedly being revamped for the new production.
The show is expected to arrive after Diwali, with the final week of November being discussed as a tentative launch window. It is also reportedly being considered for the 9 PM slot on Star Plus. Neither the premiere date nor the broadcast timing has been officially confirmed by the channel.
When Will Dil Ki Bewafaiyaan Premiere on Star Plus?
At present, Dil Ki Bewafaiyaan has an announced title and a confirmed lead pairing, but its premiere schedule remains unannounced. The reported November launch and 9 PM slot should therefore be treated as tentative details rather than an official broadcast announcement.
The makers have also not revealed the complete cast, character details or a detailed storyline. More information is expected as the production moves forward and Star Plus releases further promotional material.
With Gaurav Khanna and Shraddha Arya sharing the screen for the first time, the show brings together two established television performers under the Balaji Telefilms banner. Viewers will have to wait for the channel’s next announcement for a confirmed premiere date and additional details.
