Meet Priyanka Jaiswal, the Boston-based photographer who stumbled upon her passion in the most unexpected way. It all started when her two boys were growing up, and like any mother worth her salt, Priyanka wanted to capture every precious moment. She clicked away at her camera, determined to immortalize every memory, but little did she know that her hobby would soon become her profession.
Fast forward a few years, and Priyanka finds herself face-to-face with a DSLR gifted to her by her husband. Although she was excited to dive in and start taking pictures, the camera lay forgotten in her closet for a good five years. It wasn’t until one fateful day in 2017 that Priyanka stumbled upon her DSLR, peeping at her from the closet. And just like that, her love for photography was reignited!
Priyanka’s journey from closet to camera is an inspiring one. She may have started off as a mom trying to capture every moment, but now she’s a professional photographer with a keen eye for detail and a knack for capturing the beauty in everyday life. All thanks to her dedication and her mentor, Mr. Subroto Mukherjee, who showed her the technical ropes and helped her transform her hobby into a full-blown profession.
Most recently, Priyanka covered the ‘White Lilly and Night Rider’ event organized by Jay-Ho! The Jay Kumar Show, and her photographs left everyone breathless. Her eye for detail and ability to capture the essence of the night made her an indispensable asset to the team. Jay-Ho!
