Weeks after her first birthday, Malti Marie Jonas appeared in public when her father was honored at the Hollywood Walk Of Fame along with his brothers Joe and Kevin Jonas. Stepping out with the whole family for The Jonas Brothers’ Walk of Fame ceremony, Malti stole the hearts of media persons who captured her sitting with mother Priyanka Chopra.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas conceived Malti via surrogacy last year and have been very reluctant to share her picture on social media. Even when they shared a family photo, Malti’s face was always blurred by an emoji. On social media, people accused Priyanka of using Malti as a prop after the duo appeared on Vogue cover but Malti was not visible as her back was to the camera.
In the interview with Vogue, Priyanka Chopra spoke about why she took the surrogacy route, “I had medical complications. This was a necessary step. And, I’m so grateful that I was in a position where I could do this,” Her decision of opting for surrogacy prompted accusations of outsourcing her difficulties and getting a ready made baby.
On professional front, the 40-year-old actress is working on several projects including Love Again, Citadel (web series), and Ending Things to name a few. She is also set to be a part of a Farhan Akhtar film in her kitty, titled Jee Le Zaraa, starring Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt as well.
