Priyanka Chopra, known for her stunning looks and powerful performances, gave her fans a rare glimpse into her past. She posted a collection of photos on social media, reminiscing about her journey from childhood to stardom.
While clearing out her photo library, Priyanka found some fun snippets of her life. “As I was clearing up my photo library, I found some fun snippets of my life,” she captioned the post.
Unseen Childhood Photos
The photo album starts with an adorable picture of baby Priyanka sitting on a bicycle and wearing oversized sunglasses. She humorously described it as, “Fashion first. Mom’s sunnies, Dad’s bike (make was Rajdoot I think) 1983.”
The collection also includes a picture of her sleeping on a chair, a touching moment of her father holding her, and snapshots from a family trip to Leh. These childhood pictures show her early love for travel and adventure.
She also revealed that she has “been a desi girl since 1982” and shared that she suffered a severe asthma attack in 1987. In another picture from 1993, she playfully poked fun at her hairstyle during her time in Boston, where she gained a “major upgrade in confidence.”
Early Steps Into Bollywood
Priyanka also shared her first professional portrait, marking the beginning of her Bollywood journey. She included images from her first modeling shoot in Bareilly, showing her early career before entering the film industry.
One of the most interesting pictures was a newspaper clipping of a film titled Asar, which never got released. The photo, saved by her grandmother, was from the mahurat (launch event) of the shelved movie, where she was to star alongside Ajay Devgn and the late Yusuf sahib in 2002.
