Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela’s daughter, Klin Kaara, celebrated her second birthday in a unique and heartwarming way. Born on June 20, 2023, little Kaara turned two this past Thursday, and her parents made sure the day was extra special — not just for her, but for everyone who’s been following their journey.
A Special Birthday Meeting
To celebrate her big day, Kaara visited the Hyderabad Zoo, where she got to meet someone very special — a tigress who shares her name! Last year, when a baby tiger cub was born at the zoo, she was lovingly named “Klin Kaara” in honor of the star couple’s daughter. Now a year later, on Kaara’s birthday, the family visited the zoo so she could finally meet her namesake in person.
Upasana took to Instagram to share this touching moment. She posted an adorable photo of young Kaara looking curiously at the now grown-up tigress. Along with it, she also shared a picture from a year ago when the tigress was still a tiny cub.
Upasana’s Heartfelt Message
In her post, Upasana wrote,
“A year ago, she was just a tiny cub. Today, she’s a playful tigress and shares her name with our Klin Kaara. Thank you to the Hyderabad Zoo for this lovely gesture. We believe wildlife belongs in the wild, but we also support efforts that honour their lives with dignity and care. Here’s to growing up with kindness, courage, and compassion.”
The post quickly received love from fans and friends. Actress Kajal Aggarwal, who worked with Ram Charan in Magadheera, left a sweet comment saying, “Sweetest. Happiest birthday to your lovely little cub.” Many fans also joined in, sending warm wishes for little Kaara.

For those who don’t know, Ram Charan and Upasana were good friends for many years before they started dating. The couple got engaged in 2011 and tied the knot in a beautiful private ceremony in Hyderabad in 2012. Their daughter, Klin Kaara, was born in 2023, bringing even more joy into their lives.
Ram Charan’s Upcoming Projects
On the work front, Ram Charan was last seen in Game Changer, directed by Shankar. The movie came out earlier this year in January. While the film didn’t perform as well as expected, Ram’s performance as the character Appanna received a lot of praise.
Currently, he is busy filming Peddi, a sports drama directed by Buchi Babu Sana, where he plays a rustic and intense role. He has also signed another film with director Sukumar, marking their second collaboration after their hit movie Rangasthalam.
