Tickets for Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana are commanding premium prices in Mumbai, with select IMAX 3D recliner seats listed at ₹3,170 for opening-week screenings. The film, starring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, is scheduled to release in theatres on November 5, 2026, and advance bookings opened on October 20, coinciding with Dussehra.
The highest listed prices apply to specific premium seats and showtimes rather than every screening. Prices at other IMAX 3D cinemas are comparatively lower, while select Insignia screenings are listed at up to ₹2,370. The wide range gives moviegoers several viewing options, depending on their preferred format, cinema and budget.
Ramayana IMAX Ticket Prices Reach ₹3,170 in Mumbai
At PVR ICON: Phoenix Palladium in Lower Parel, Mumbai, select IMAX 3D recliner seats are listed at ₹3,170 for afternoon and evening shows on November 5, 6 and 7. For Sunday, November 8, the same premium seating category is listed at ₹2,770, according to reported booking prices.
These rates place the film’s most expensive listed Mumbai tickets above ₹3,000 for selected screenings. However, the prices apply to particular seats and showtimes and should not be interpreted as the standard price for watching the film.
Moviegoers seeking the IMAX experience at other venues may find lower rates. At EROS INOX IMAX in Churchgate and the R City location in Ghatkopar, select IMAX 3D screenings have been listed below ₹1,000, according to the reported price comparison.
Ramayana Insignia Tickets Priced at ₹2,370
Premium pricing also extends to Insignia screenings. At INOX Insignia in Worli, Mumbai, ticket prices are reported to start at ₹970 during the film’s initial days, with select late-afternoon and night screenings reaching ₹2,370.
The reported listings cover November 5 through November 9. As with IMAX recliners, the final price depends on the selected show, seat category and cinema.
For audiences who prefer a premium auditorium without choosing the most expensive IMAX recliner seats, comparing Insignia listings with other formats may help identify a suitable option.
Regular 3D Tickets Also Carry Higher Prices for Evening Shows
The price difference is not limited to premium formats. According to the reported listings, regular 3D screenings in Mumbai have ticket prices above ₹400 from the late afternoon onwards.
This means the cost of watching Ramayana can vary considerably depending on the time of day and viewing format. Standard 3D screenings may offer a more accessible alternative to premium recliners, while IMAX 3D and Insignia cater to audiences willing to pay more for a particular cinema experience.
Since ticket prices and seat availability can change as bookings progress, audiences should check the final amount on the relevant ticketing platform before completing a purchase.
Why Are Ramayana Ticket Prices Attracting Attention?
Ramayana is one of the most anticipated Indian film releases of 2026. Its scale, mythological subject and high-profile cast have generated substantial interest ahead of its theatrical debut.
The advance-booking response has also drawn attention. India Today reported that the film collected ₹5.44 crore through advance bookings across India within the first 24 hours, with premium Mumbai tickets reaching ₹2,770 at that point. Subsequent reports have highlighted listings of up to ₹3,170 for select IMAX recliners.
The early booking figures and premium ticket prices offer a snapshot of audience interest before release. They do not, by themselves, establish how the film will perform at the box office once regular screenings begin.
Ramayana Cast and Release Date
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, Ramayana features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita and Yash as Ravana. The ensemble also includes Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman.
The film is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on November 5, 2026, with theatrical formats including IMAX 3D. As advance bookings continue, ticket prices are likely to remain a point of discussion, particularly for premium seats in major metropolitan markets.
For audiences planning to watch the film in Mumbai, comparing venues and showtimes before booking may make a meaningful difference to the overall cost.
