Malayalam actors Asif Ali, Divya Prabha, and Deepak Parambol have teamed up for a touching and emotional film called ‘Sarkeet’. The much-awaited trailer was finally dropped on Thursday, and it promises a heartwarming story filled with emotions, friendship, and heartbreak.
Sarkeet Trailer: A Fresh Teaming of Asif Ali and Divya Prabha
After winning hearts with her role in All We Imagine As Light, Divya Prabha now shares the screen with Asif Ali in Sarkeet. The film seems to focus on human connections, personal struggles, and hope, told through a simple yet emotional storyline.
The trailer, which is about two minutes and twenty seconds long, gives us a glimpse into this emotional ride. It shows a man (played by Asif Ali) who is trying to find a new job and settle down in a new city. Along the way, he crosses paths with a couple (played by Deepak Parambol and Divya Prabha) who are struggling to manage their hyperactive son, Orhan.
The Bond Between a Shadow Teacher and a Child
Faced with challenges at their child’s school, the couple decides to hire a shadow teacher—someone who personally helps and guides the child. That’s when Asif Ali’s character steps in and takes the job.

The trailer beautifully captures the early struggles as Asif’s character tries hard to connect with the mischievous Orhan. But soon, a touching bond starts to form between the two. However, just when things start to settle, a heartbreaking incident shakes everything. The trailer hints at a tense situation where Orhan’s parents desperately search for their son during odd hours, suggesting an emotional and gripping turn of events.
Meet the Team Behind ‘Sarkeet’
Sarkeet is written and directed by Thamar, and it features an exciting supporting cast, including Swathi Das Prabhu and Alexander Prashanth in important roles.
The film is produced by Vinayaka Ajith and Florine Dominic, ensuring strong production quality. Music for Sarkeet is composed by the talented Govind Vasantha, adding more emotional depth to the story.
The technical crew includes Sangeeth Prathap (who we loved in Premalu) as the editor, Aeyaz as the cinematographer, Irshad Cherukunnu as the costume designer, Visvanathan Aravind as the art director, and Sudhi Surendran as the makeup artist. Together, they have worked to create a visually appealing and emotionally moving film.
