Yes, Shahid Mallya, the well-known Bollywood playback singer. Recently, the musician made headlines for his singing in the Netflix film Qala, in which he performed the songs Rubaaiyaan, Shauq, Nirbhau Nirvair, and Udh Jaayega. Because of its antique appeal and Shahid Mallya’s impeccable singing, Qala songs are currently trending on social media.

Earlier, in an interview on Jay-Ho! The Jay Kumar Show, Shahid Mallya had shared his professional journey and singing in Mumbai. He used to live in a small room and sing commercials and jingles. At one point, he had also revealed that he did manual jobs for Bollywood composers and lyricists. His childhood was very tough and it became even tougher when his father met with an accident, which confined him to a 10 year bedrest. Despite such impediments, Shahid chased his dream and came to Mumbai.
