Shraddha Kapoor, reprising her role from the original Stree that introduced the Maddock Supernatural Universe, has revealed a chilling new poster for the upcoming horror-comedy. Sharing the poster on her Instagram, she teased fans with a caption that hinted at the film’s eerie theme.

In the newly released poster, a mysterious figure in black is depicted from behind, gripping a long ponytail emitting lightning bolts. Above them looms another shadowy figure, cloaked and unidentified, against the backdrop of an ancient, haunted fortress.

Continuing the Supernatural Universe

Stree 2 picks up from its predecessor’s cliffhanger, where Shraddha Kapoor’s character was last seen with the ominous ponytail linked to the malevolent spirit. Apart from Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, Stree 2 features Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and others in pivotal roles. Directed by Amar Kaushik, known for his adeptness in blending horror and comedy, the film promises to deliver spine-chilling entertainment on Independence Day.

As anticipation mounts for Stree 2’s release, fans eagerly await the trailer’s unveiling, poised to witness the continuation of a supernatural saga that has captured imaginations and chilled spines alike. Stay tuned for more updates as the legend returns to cinemas on August 15, 2024.
