Bollywood star Aamir Khan is back with another touching and inspiring film, Sitaare Zameen Par. The trailer for this upcoming movie was released recently, and it has already started creating a buzz among fans. The film is a spiritual sequel to Aamir’s 2007 masterpiece Taare Zameen Par, but this time, it comes with a fresh twist and a brand-new storyline.
A New Journey Begins
In the trailer, Aamir Khan plays the role of Gulshan, an assistant basketball coach. Things take a wild turn when he punches his senior coach after losing his temper. As a result, the court gives him an unexpected job — to coach a basketball team made up of specially-abled children.
From there, the story takes off, showing how this unlikely team and their coach prepare for the National Championship. It’s not just a sports film, but a story full of hope, emotions, challenges, and heartwarming moments.
Inspired by Real Stories
Sitaare Zameen Par is inspired by the Spanish film Champions, which also focused on a basketball team of differently-abled players. But this Indian version adds its own charm, culture, and emotions.
While Taare Zameen Par focused on a young boy struggling with dyslexia, this new film shines a light on children with special needs, showing their dreams, talent, and determination.
Aamir Khan Shines Again
Known as Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist, Aamir Khan is famous for taking on meaningful roles and stories. With Sitaare Zameen Par, he once again steps into a role that promises to inspire and entertain. His character goes through a major change — from being short-tempered to becoming a guiding light for the kids.
Genelia Deshmukh, playing his supportive wife, adds warmth and balance to the story. Though Darsheel Safary is also part of the movie, the trailer doesn’t show much about his role, adding a bit of mystery for fans.
