Sukhwinder Singh has always been known for his soulful voice and unique style. Unlike many artists today, he does not chase trends or compete with anyone. He believes in making music that speaks to people, regardless of their age.

“I am not in a race with anyone. I prefer to stay offline rather than constantly being active on social media. I enjoy reading newspapers, listening to the radio, and creating songs that appeal to all generations,” he shares.

Connecting with the Youth Without Social Media

In today’s world, where social media is a big part of staying relevant, Sukhwinder has found his own way of staying connected with the youth. He frequently performs at college concerts and enjoys interacting with young audiences.

“Many people think the youth only follow social media trends. But I perform at college concerts almost every other day, and the energy I get from them is incredible. These shows are not about money for me. I learn from them and use that energy in my music,” he says.

Choosing Quality Over Trends

Despite not being highly active online, Sukhwinder remains a favorite among music lovers. He is happy with the kind of projects coming his way and does not feel the need to follow trends just because they are popular.

“I don’t create content for a specific age group. I want to make meaningful songs that can be enjoyed by everyone. For example, my recent single Nagini has a Mexican cowboy theme. I got the idea when I visited Mexico. But instead of using guns in the video, I focused on storytelling. Babu Singh Maan wrote the lyrics, and I composed the song,” he explains.

Sukhwinder singh’s Upcoming Projects and Passion for Music

Sukhwinder is currently working on several Bollywood projects, including songs for Baaghi 4 and a film by Vishal Bhardwaj. But he is equally passionate about independent music.

His upcoming singles will focus on different themes. “My next song is dedicated to our patriots and freedom fighters. After that, I will release a song for children about the importance of health. My music is a mix of entertainment and meaningful messages,” he shares.

Instead of signing with big music labels, Sukhwinder prefers to release his songs on his own channel. “I could have given my songs to any label and made money, but I want the freedom to express myself,” he says.
